Fast and Easy Vignette in Photoshop Elements

There are lots of ways to create a vignette in Photoshop Elements but the quickest and easiest way to create one was designed to correct lens distortions. Using this method creates a very soft vignette that really captures the look of the older vignettes caused by lenses rather than the harsher, more stylized vignettes we are used to seeing today.

How to Create a Vignette in Photoshop Elements

  1. Under the file menu, click on “Correct Camera Distortion”
  2. Easy Vignette in Photoshop Elements Option

  3. In the correct camera distortion screen, move the “Amount” and “Midpoint” vignette sliders to the left until you like the result on the preview
  4. Vignette via Lens Distortion in Photoshop Elements

That’s all there is to it! A handful of simple clicks and you have a great looking vignette! Enjoy!
