Wordless Wednesday: A Very Raptor Christmas Edition

As many of you know, I help the Alabama Wildlife Center with their photo needs from time to time. This year we attempted to get some of the education birds into the holiday spirit with a little greenery. They were not impressed but it is still always a great time photographing them.

Natchez, one of the education birds at the Alabama Wildlife Center, was not amused at our holiday decorations

They will be posting new Christmas cards very soon so be sure to check out their website to support a great cause and see the new batch of photos. I hear rumors there will be a Cedar Waxwing among the photos this year.

PS: Yes, I know, another “Wordless Wednesday” wherein I actually rambled and wrote a lot.

  1. Legacy is an American Kestrel?? He looks more like a kite to me…. *schritching head* ….Could the photo here be of Natchez?

    • See? This is what happens when you blog while trying to explain to a teenager how to find out the number of neurons in an isotope. This isn’t Legacy, this is Natchez and he is a Mississippi Kite. Good catch.
